Our analysis

Builder’s view: compare correct retrieval, elapsed time and combined local/remote costs on real repository questions before delegating search. We have not tested this tool.

Keep in mind

Local-model tokens were excluded. A meaningful accuracy drop remains possible; the study did not test patch generation.
